There might be an issue with the current installation of the game. Perform a clean reinstallation by uninstalling PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS and delete all the associated files by following the steps below:
- Press Windows Key+R.
- Type in %localappdata% and then press Enter or OK
- Delete the folder TslGame
- Navigate to Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BattlEye and delete the file BEService_pubg.exe
- Navigate to Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common and delete the folder PUBG

Once it's completely removed, reinstall the game by redownloading the game. Do not reinstall from a previous backup created of the game. This will eliminate the possibility of installing a faulty backed up copy of the game.
